The Challenge

The international beauty brand with a New York City showroom needed a striking yet functional solution. The showroom is an interactive, hands-on space where buyers can explore products destined for retail floors. It features 8 glass panels measuring 118” high x 36” wide that encase the showroom. Not only did they need bold, creative visuals to show their brand, but the brand required a solution that would provide partial privacy, allowing employees to spot clients without sacrificing natural light.

The Requirements

The ideal solution needed to show high-impact, full color graphics without completely blocking the natural light filtering through the space. A decorative, polished look was a priority inside and outside the showroom while enabling staff to see when clients were visiting. Traditional vinyl and perforated window films would not meet the client’s vision. They were seeking a solution that brought their products to life creatively, feeling more art-like, but didn’t break the bank and could be easily changed every 6 months.

The Solution

Don Lubarsky from Signarama in Nanuet, New York introduced the brand to panoRama TwoWay Vision window film. “panoRama TwoWay Vision checked all the boxes for this client. It shows creative, color saturated graphics vibrantly and adds privacy without being too closed off,” said Don Lubarsky. “Our client has been so happy with the window graphics that they have had them up on the windows for 3 years.”

The Product

panoRama TwoWay Vision window film makes graphics pop day and night. This clear PVC solution that uses white prism technology to enhance how light interacts with the film, making graphics appear bright and luminous on both sides of the glass, even after dark. It transmits ambient daylight for full daytime visibility inside and outside. The opposite happens after the sunsets, taking ambient interior lighting for nighttime visibility both inside and outside. Unlike other clear films that require a layer of white ink to make color pop, panoRama TwoWay Vision requires no white ink.

“This was the first Continental Grafix USA product I’ve used and I offer it to as many of my clients as possible! The product is easy to install using wet installation and looks great when we’re done,” says Lubarsky.
